Common Questions About Our Tape
1. Can I use it after applying skincare (like serums and oils)?
Yes, you can! Just wait 5–15 minutes after applying your skincare so it can fully absorb. Once your skin feels dry (not sticky), you can apply the silicone tape. Bonus: the tape can actually help your skin absorb your products even better overnight!
2. How long should I wear the tape?
For best results, wear it for 4 to 8 hours a day. We recommend using it while you sleep!
3. Will it irritate my skin?
Nope! The tape is made from soft, medical-grade silicone that’s safe for all skin types—even sensitive skin. It doesn’t contain any harsh chemicals or irritants and is the same kind used in hospitals.
4. Can I reuse the tape?
Yes, you can! Just wash it gently with soap and water, let it dry, and store it in the packet. If it loses stickiness, try warming it up with a hairdryer on low heat for a few seconds.
5. How big is the tape roll?
The roll is 4 cm wide and 150 cm long (about 1.57 inches by 59 inches). You can cut it to whatever size you need.
6. What kind of scars does it help with?
It helps fade raised scars (hypertrophic and keloid), discolored scars, and scars from surgery, burns, cuts, acne, c-sections, and even insect bites.
7. When should I start using it on a scar?
Start using it once your skin is fully healed—no scabs or open areas.
- After surgery: Wait 1–2 weeks after stitches are removed (or ask your doctor).
- For older scars: You can start using it right away, as long as the skin is healed.
